OBI® Performance Formulary
The OBI® performance formulary offers state-of-the-art personal healthcare products which are equal or superior to any presently commercially available.

Our Performance Formulary Contains:

1. No sulfates (e.g., SLS)
2. No hydroxy benzoic acid deriviatives (i.e., Parabens)
3. No formaldehyde formers (i.e., diazolidinyl urea, Germall II)
4. No chlorinated compounds (i.e., Quaterium-15, Dowicil 200)

We make every effort in the formulary to monitor and minimize any trace solvents or other petrochemical ingredients not directly reported on the label. Any petrochemical ingredient is screened for potentially harmful trace ingredients.

OBI® Natural Formulary
"Natural Ingredient" is defined by OBI® as an ingredient derived directly from a renewable/ sustainable plant, animal or mineral source. Petrochemicals may be used minimally in the manufacturing process, all are confirmed removed during the final purification steps or not used by OBI®.

We use the Natural Products Association approved ingredient list as the basis for ingredient exclusion.

This formulary addresses the concerns many have for the numerous anthropogenic ingredients found in conventional petrochemical based products. While not totally petrochemical free, petrochemicals have been reduced to trace levels.

Our Natural Formulary May Contain:

1. hydrogenated plant derived oils (Behenyl alcohol, Cetyl alcohol etc.)
2. vitamins and minerals which are food grade
3. lipo-oligopeptides made from fatty acids and amino acids
4. bioactive compounds derived from non-GMO enzyme activity on certified organic plant extracts
5. Non-ethoxylated surfactants (i.e.,surfactants based on plant oils, sugars and amino acids)
6. No glycols other than plant derived glycerin or polyglycerols
